Collectible Pleasures

A project from my Alchemy University bootcamp, and a tribute to the Unknown Pleasures album cover.

You type three letters, and each one becomes a stack of noisy waves. A small server draws the art and saves it to IPFS, and a contract mints it as an NFT. Try the generator below. To mint one, use the live site.

What I did

  • A full alphabet drawn only with waves: each letter is a set of wave modules.
  • The same art engine in Python, rendering animated GIFs.
  • A Solidity contract with tests, and a Next.js app to connect a wallet and mint.

Try it

Each letter becomes a stack of noisy waves, redrawn twelve times a second.
